"Sunset Wheat" (9 x 12") Pastel on Paper
In “Sunset Wheat” I tried to capture the way the sun shown through the edges of the grass, turning them almost as bright as the sun! It is done with soft pastel on heavy, sanded paper. I only used the most lightfast rated soft pastels on archival paper so that it will be beautiful and bright for a life time! Please know I have done my best to represent color accurately, but each screen and monitor is different.

All original art is signed and dated by me, sometimes on the front, and sometimes on the back. Please note that it will take 4- 14 days for me to pack and ship your items, as I am a one woman show! I run every aspect of my art business by myself, while also raising two young boys and taking care of my family!
Please Note- This soft pastel painting is not sealed, as sealing causes a color shift in soft pastel. Sealing soft pastel is frowned upon in the art world. It will be shipped wrapped in glassine paper and should be taken, still wrapped, to a professional framer who knows how to frame soft pastel paintings.
