A little bit of winter moonlight captured in gemstone form.
These earrings are handmade in my cozy Northwoods studio using genuine white chalcedony, a gemstone known for its soft glow and dreamy transparency. Each teardrop has a gentle, milky shimmer that catches the light in the loveliest way, almost as if lit from within.
To add a touch of contrast and color, I paired the chalcedony with tiny faceted amethyst gems. Their deep purple sparkles softly against the cool silver, creating a quiet, elegant combination. Every bead is wrapped by hand in sterling silver, and each jump ring is opened and closed individually, giving the cluster a delicate movement and a refined finish.
The ear wires are also made by hand using sterling silver that I cut, shaped, hammered, filed, and polished so the earrings feel comfortable and secure. Measuring just over 1.5 inches long, they are lightweight and easy to wear while still offering a little moment of enchantment each time they shift in the light.
A Note on Handcrafted Beauty
Each pair is made slowly and carefully by hand, one wire wrap at a time. Because of this, faint tool marks or tiny natural variations may be present. These are part of the charm of handmade jewelry. Your earrings will be very close to the pair shown, while still having their own unique character.
